Laura Alex is a sustainability professional expanding the emerging 
nexus of science, social ecology, and creative pragmatism.  Laura leverages her broad background in science, design, and policy for a unique integrative approach to Environmental Communication and New Media. 

A native of Lexington, KY, Laura holds a BA from Smith College 
and an MESc from Yale University. She is currently the Director 
of Research at the Center for Sustainable Cities.
